Copyright and IP Policy

Lightib LLC ("we", "us", "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Pictec service to do the same.

1. User Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the images and content you upload to Pictec ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

2. License to Pictec

By uploading User Content to Pictec, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to access, use, process, copy, export, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service (e.g., to perform the image editing you requested). This license also allows us to store your content for a limited time to allow you to download your results.

3. Output Ownership

Subject to your compliance with our Terms, you own the edited images and outputs generated by the Service based on your User Content ("Output"), to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. Pictec Intellectual Property

The Pictec Service, including its software, algorithms, user interface, branding, logos, and any pre-existing models or assets, are the exclusive property of Lightib LLC and its licensors. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

5. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a complaint to our designated agent.

Required Information:
Please include the following in your notice:

  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Service (e.g., specific URLs).
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

6. Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
